See Glaucoma: A Webinar on May 3, 2017 (3:00 PM ETD)

April 4, 2017

Presented by Jullia A. Rosdahl, M.D., Ph.D., Kym Collins-Lee, and Sherrol A. Reynolds, O.D., FAAO

Nearly 3 million Americans have glaucoma, an eye disease that can cause vision loss and blindness and often has no early warning signs. Half of the people who have glaucoma don’t know it. Lack of awareness and the absence of symptoms are preventing people from detecting the disease early. You can help change that! Community educators and health professionals like you are vital to supporting the quality of life for the people you serve. As a trusted source of information, you are well-positioned to spread the word about glaucoma and help protect the vision of those at higher risk. The National Eye Health Education Program (NEHEP) of the National Eye Institute (NEI) invites you to join us for a free webinar to learn about glaucoma and the need for early detection, treatment options, and the strategies and tools you’ll need to build awareness in your community.
