What’s on our Horizon…
It’s officially SUMMER! 🌞
We have kicked off the season with some serious fun in the sun!
- Our Horizons Sailing Program at SailMaine got out on the water this week! This program takes place every Monday and every other Thursday.
- We took our first Portland Schooner Co. sail and had a wonderful time! Thanks to the awesome crew for having us! We have two more sessions scheduled for this summer.
- Thanks to our friends at Maine Island Trail Association we were able to enjoy a gorgeous morning paddle in Camden with Maine Sport Outfitters! Check out photos from the trip here!

Horizons Paddle Trip

Join the Adaptive Outdoor Education Center for an unforgettable weekend of kayaking, camping, and community in the scenic coastal DownEast Region of Maine!
This weekend will include camping at Greenlaw Campground, paddling with Osprey Echo Sea Kayaking, and an educational experience with Island Heritage Trust.

Come learn about wildlife with Josh, a licensed animal damage control agent. Animals of all types will visit AOEC Brunswick for this educational program where we will learn about care and other animal encounter stories! This session is open to all ages and abilities.

Join us and our friends from L.L. Bean’s Outdoor Discovery School for an afternoon of outdoor recreation! You will have the chance to try archery, practice your fly casting, scale our 30′ outdoor climbing wall, learn about inclusive paddling equipment, take a stroll through our adaptive trail network, and MORE!
