Happy Spring!
As we wrap up the winter season, we want to extend a BIG thank you to all our incredible volunteers, families, program attendees, and community collaborations for a fun-filled season!
- We’re celebrating a great ninth season of the Horizons Ski Program! This program has grown to include six mountains in Maine and we’re grateful to have offered lessons across the state this winter.
- We hosted our third annual Unified Race with Carrabassett Valley Academy! It was a great morning celebrating inclusive racing!
- Thanks to a generous Veterans grant from Move United, we were able to provide a three day nordic and snowshoe clinic with V.A.S.T.!
- We continue to host a monthly Parents’ Night Out, giving caregivers a well deserved few hours to themselves! This month we also partnered with KinCorps, building community in Cumberland County!
- The Social Circle has seen awesome growth, creating a space for young adults to build friendships and socialize! This group meets two times each month!
- Our Aphasia Book Club finished their first read of Lord of the Rings! This group loves getting together weekly and they are on to the next book!
As the days grow longer and the sunshine gets warmer, we’re excited for everything ahead on our horizon!
