Community Inclusion through TEchnology (CITE)
Maine CITE helps Mainers of any age and ability learn about and explore assistive technology (AT) and tools to increase independence.
November Happenings
November is here! The weather is cooler, and the leaves are changing. It is a perfect time to be thankful and enjoy family and friends as we gear up for the holidays.
November is also about supporting those with Alzheimer’s and epilepsy. Over 6.2 million Americans have Alzheimer’s, and 3.4 million live with epilepsy. Learn more and get involved with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and the Epilepsy Foundation New England.
Over the past few weeks, Maine CITE has participated in several conferences and events. As we move into November, we are pleased to share some important updates.
- Gallant Therapy Services is once again partnering with Maine CITE. Together, we remain committed to helping individuals with disabilities in Maine gain greater independence through the use of assistive technology.
- We are also proud to welcome John F. Murphy Homes as a new partner. This collaboration will help us reach more people and strengthen our support across the community.
Be sure to VOTE this election season! For accessible voting options, visit Disability Rights Maine.
