Here at the AOEC we have a season full of fun, inclusive programming on the way, from outdoor adventures to community events. Come join us and make the most of this colorful time of year!

Horizons After School Program
Every other Thursday and one Friday per month
AOEC Brunswick
Horizons After School Program offers small group opportunities for children with disabilities and their families to engage in fun activities after school! Kids will enjoy a variety of exciting activities including arts and crafts, nature activities, sensory play, rock climbing, gently guided play, and more!

AOEC Paint Along
October 12th, 2pm – 4pm
AOEC Brunswick
Join us at the AOEC Brunswick for a community paint along event! Attendees will be guided through a step by step painting of the iconic Portland Headlight!
The event is open to all ages and abilities.
AOEC Open House

Brunswick, ME
Join us and our friends from L.L. Bean’s Outdoor Discovery School for an afternoon of outdoor recreation! You will have the chance to try archery, practice your fly casting, scale our 30′ outdoor climbing wall, learn about inclusive paddling equipment, take a stroll through our adaptive trail network, and MORE!
Also, we are excited to share that the Darling’s Ice Cream Truck will be there! Donations for ice cream go to the AOEC!🍦

THE SOCIAL CIRCLE
at the AOEC Brunswick
The Social Circle is a free in-person club providing opportunities for young adults in Maine with varying abilities. The club is a space to build genuine friendships, develop social skills, and have fun in a creative and welcoming environment.
Members are invited to various monthly meetups with emphasis on activities for everyone, including Dungeons and Dragons events, video games, cooking classes, and arts and crafts. We aim for this club to be tailored to the interest of club members and invite club members to share their passions and skills through leadership opportunities.
