What’s on our Horizon…
As the days grow longer and the sun begins to shine, we couldn’t be more excited for the summer ahead! This season is all about connection, creativity, and making memories—and we’re thrilled to spend it with YOU.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, meet new friends, or get out and enjoy some of your favorite summer activities, we have a lineup of FUN programs to bring us all together.

Horizons Sailing
Registration is OPEN for the 2025 season at SailMaine!
The Horizons Sailing Program will take place at SailMaine every Monday from 1pm – 4pm and 4pm – 7pm, and every other Thursday from 4pm – 7pm, from June 9th – September 8th.
Portland Schooner Co.
This year we will again be offering sails throughout the season with Portland Schooner Co.! Attendees will have the opportunity to sail aboard a schooner built in 1931.
Portland Schooner sessions are scheduled for June 25th, August 27th, and September 15th. There are just a few spots remaining for each session so be sure to sign up in advance!
Amped Sailing
We will again be partnering with Ruy and Alex from Amped Sailing to offer sailing sessions to people with limb loss and limb differences! These sails will take place Saturdays, June 28th – October 4th.

Horizons Golf
We are collaborating with Maine Golf Freeport to offer an educational, fun, and inclusive program. This will be a 6-week program, taking place on Thursday mornings from July 10th – August 7th.
Join us on June 26th for an Open House and info session at Maine Golf Freeport! This is a great way to learn about the program and try out some golf basics.
Caregiver Retreat

We are accepting applications for this years Caregiver Retreat!
Our Caregiver Retreats are an intentional nature-based healing program. Activities include daily modalities, hiking, forest baths, and more! Caregivers will learn self-care strategies and the positive impact time in nature can have on their mental, physical, and emotional health from our incredible Retreat leader, Heather Zoccali.

HORIZONS WATERSKIING

Kingfield, ME
Join us for some fun on the water with the Horizons Waterski Program. We partner with Petersen Water Skiing to offer inclusive waterski lessons on Indian Pond outside of Kingfield. Program is designed to be an overnight camp but if you’d just like to join for one day you can do that as well!
