Rainbow Club

Rainbow Club is an independent organization designed to bring together people who are blind or visually impaired in a social atmosphere.  There are no membership dues or other requirements.  The programs vary widely from Yoga and music, to what it's like to be a New York City policeman.

The meetings are held once each month, on the second Monday at the Inn at City Hall, located at the historic augusta City hall building at 1 Cony Street.  Gatherings usually begin around 10:00am, sometimes it doesn't get started until 10:30am, and is comprise of a program of interest, then lunch.

A $5.00 fee is charged for lunch, which is prepared by the staff.  A 50/50 raffle is held as well.  Reservations are necessary so that an accurate number of lunches can be ordered.  Transportation is also provided to and from the meetings.  Each year the December meeting is a Christmas party.
