Iris Network Support Groups

SKOWHEGAN VIP GROUP, This is a group for persons who are visually impaired, their family, and friends. we meet on the first Thursday of each month at the Skowhegan Career Center from 1:00 to 3:00. We exchange information, ideas, and support one another. RSVP to Aisha Hixon @ 632-4520 if interested.

Community Support Groups

Visually Impaired Persons Sharing, Rumford, Mexico areas. Meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 10:30 at the Oxford Lanes Bowling Alley, Route 2, Rumford followed by a lunch somewhere in the area. FMI call Phil Roberts 562-8724

The Wells Support Group, For people with vision impairments and their significant others, Wells Congregational Church, Post Road (US Route 1) 1st Thursday of the month (except July and August), from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. FMI call Brenda Bacon 646-7079.

VIP Group of Boothbay Harbor, St. Andrews Village Gregory Conference Room on Emery Lane. 1st Tuesday of the month from 1:00 – 2:30. FMI call Molly Moore at 663-3810 or Joan Stark at 633-2498.
