Doris is a retired financial executive, most recently as a C.P.A. specializing in international tax at Baker Newman and Noyes. Prior to that, she was Vice President and CFO of the International and Reinsurance Divisions at UNUM.
Doris holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin and currently resides in Falmouth, Maine. She also volunteers as a “puppy raiser” for Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and with the Pet Therapy Program at Maine Medical Center.
Doris first became interested in supporting the blind and visually impaired through her work with Guiding Eyes. As she came to know more about the blind community and the services provided by The Iris Network, she wanted to make a more significant contribution to the work of the organization. This is Doris’ second stint as a board member.
