THE IRIS NETWORK LECTURE SERIES
At
Huntington Common
Did you know that people with vision loss can retain their independence and stay fully active? Vision Rehabilitation Services are the key to adjusting to the loss of sight without giving up a high quality of life.
The Iris Network is a statewide nonprofit agency that provides training programs, education, and support to people with vision loss around the state. They are teaming up with Huntington Common, an independent retirement and assisted living community in Kennebunk, to offer presentations followed by question-and-answer sessions on managing vision loss.
The incidence of vision loss due to age-related eye diseases is about one in five after age 75. Leading causes are Age-Related Macular Degeneration, followed by Glaucoma, Diabetes and Strokes.
Come and learn about living with vision loss from Vision Rehabilitation Specialists. This lecture series is generously sponsored by Huntington Common and will be held at their community in Kennebunk.
